Call for Proposals for Ohio Latino Education Summit to be hosted at the University of Akron

A Call for Proposals is now open for the 2015 Ohio Latino Education Summit on Friday, March 6, 2015 at the University of Akron (UA). The Ohio Latino Affairs Commission and UA's Office of Inclusion and Equity are sponsoring the one-day event, which will be attended by students, parents, K-12 and higher education teachers, advisers, school administrators and government officials.

This year's event will focus especially on northern Ohio's Latino communities and educational institutions. Attendees will learn and share ideas, contacts, and resources for educating and advising Ohio's Latino students, including best practice models being implemented around Ohio. More information on the event's agenda and logistics will follow.
