Radio Free Honduras from Chicago rocks at MidWest LatinoFest along with Bachata Flow from North Carolina

Radio Free Honduras is becoming a staple on the Midwest Latin Music scene; it features Honduran music legend Charlie Barán. In Honduras, Barán was a core member of the group Banda Blanca, which rose to fame in 1990 when the international hit “Sopa de Caracol” struck number one on the Billboard Latin Chart for the United States. The songs “Fiesta” and “Swing Latina” also made the United States charts. The Banda Blanca album “Baila Blanca” hit number one on the Billboard Tropical Album Chart in 1991. The group received a Lo Nuestro award for New Tropical Artist of the Year.
