Great night for baseball with the Lorain County Ironmen and LPLS, Aug. 2

LORAIN: Batter up for a great night at the ballpark. Get free admission to the Lorain County Ironmen’s last home game of the season, Saturday, Aug. 2, courtesy of your Lorain Public Library System (LPLS).

The first Saturday in August is Lorain Public Library System night at The Pipe Yard in Lorain.  Simply show your LPLS library card and get in for free!
 

Gates open at 6:05 p.m., one hour before the first pitch at 7:05 p.m.  The Pipe Yard is located at 2840 Meister Road, Lorain.

It’s fan appreciation night!  LPLS mascot Browser® will be on the scene.  Plus LPLS gets to pick who will throw out the first pitch!  Come see if someone from the library can put it over the plate.

Two lucky fans will also win Cedar Point tickets!  All fans will receive a free raffle ticket when they come into the ballpark.  Those tickets will be entered for a chance to win a pair of one-day passes to one of the world’s best amusement parks.  Every purchase at the concession stand gets you another chance to go to America’s Roller Coast.  Winners will be picked during the game.

Get ready to root for your home team - because we all know if they don’t win, it’s a shame!  See you at the game!
