Sample food from the area’s finest restaurants and caterers, dance to live music on multiple stages and mingle with friends in the remarkable setting of the Toledo Zoo. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres from 10 different restaurants and caterers on the Zoo’s Africa! exhibit. Across the bridge at the Zoo’s historic side, guests enjoy a sophisticated evening of live music and samples from more than 40 fine restaurants and caterers from 7:30 pm to midnight. To highlight the fun side of a black tie event, this year ZOOtoDO honors the dynamic new Penguin Beach.
ZOOtoDO is much more than one of the region’s premiere social events. It’s a Party with a Purpose, with 100 percent of the net proceeds providing support for the continued development of the Zoo’s programs and exhibits. Each year it attracts more than 50 restaurants and nearly 2,000 guests. Tickets for ZOOtoDO are $150 per person and must be purchased in advance. Discounts are available for members of the Toledo Zoo’s President’s Circle and Companies for Kids program. ZOOtoDO is a rain-or-shine event. Guests must be 21 or over, and the Zoo reserves the right to check IDs at the door.
