Henry Ford College Democracy Institute co-hosts Candidates Forum for Wayne County Executive June 12
Dearborn: Henry Ford College (HFC) and all three League of Women Voters (LWV) chapters in Wayne County will host a Candidates Forum for the 14 candidates running for Wayne County Executive on Thursday, June 12, 2014. This forum will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Forfa Auditorium, located in the Andrew A. Mazzara Administrative Services and Conference Center (ASCC) on the main campus.
WXYZ (Channel 7) will live-stream the entire Candidates Forum on their web-site.

Henry Ford College Big Band performs at Andiamo of Dearborn, June 14
Dearborn: The award-winning Henry Ford College (HFC) Big Band will play at Andiamo of Dearborn on Saturday, June 14, 2014, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Andiamo is located at 21400 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn.
Founded in 1981, the HFC Big Band has performed at Andiamo many times. It has also performed at numerous major jazz festivals throughout the world. The Big Band has also performed at the past four United States Presidential Inaugurations, including Barack Obama’s second inauguration in 2013.
Members include young professional musicians, music educators, and outstanding student musicians.
In addition to concerts, the Big Band performs numerous dance engagements throughout the year.
To make reservations for “Big Band Night” at Andiamo of Dearborn, please call 313.359.3300. Remember to request the outside patio area for seating. Please attempt to reserve a table of four or more, since a table for one or two creates vacant seats in the audience seating. In case of inclement weather, the performance will take place in the banquet area.
