Have Breakfast with the Bunny at the Toledo Zoo
The Toledo Zoo offers Breakfast with the Bunny on April 18 and 19, sponsored by Meijer. This separate-fee event is available only by advance reservation online, and space is limited.
The day starts with early entry to the Zoo for a special children’s egg hunt on Zoo grounds, followed by family-friendly crafts and – of course – a photographed visit with the bunny himself. Then gather at the Lodge for a chef-designed breakfast buffet. Admission to the Zoo is included with the cost.

With more than 6,000 animals on a 74-acre campus, the Zoo is a spring getaway for families. Travel “from snow to sand” in the company of polar bears, tigers, frogs and birds without the hassles of flight delays, lost luggage or cramped hotel rooms. Plus, the Zoo’s award-winning children’s zoo, Nature’s Neighborhood, is always brimming with fun.
In addition to Breakfast with the Bunny, families who visit on Friday, April 18, get to enjoy an Animal Egg Hunt; the animals discover treats and enrichment items in their exhibits. The day features story times and fun spring activities, too, all across the Zoo.
