Learn Zentangle at Lorain Public Library System’s Main Library

Learn a new art form at Lorain Public Library System’s Main Library. Zentangle 101 is Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 2 p.m.  The Main Library is located at 351 W. Sixth St. in Lorain.  Preregistration is required and is available online at LorainPublicLibrary.org or by calling the Main Library at 440-244-1192, ext. 450 or 1-800-322-READ, ext. 450.

Zentangle is a very easy method of drawing used to create beautiful images from repetitive patterns. Everyone can enjoy Zentangle as it’s suitable for beginners and seasoned artists alike.  Zentangle designs can be used for gifts or greeting cards.

This art form also offers health benefits.  Zentangle is helpful for relieving stress, chronic pain and panic attacks, and in rehabilitation and weight loss. During the class, the entire process is broken down and taught “one stroke at a time,” as the Zentangle people say.
