eMEDIA: Learn about all of the things that can be downloaded for free using your Lorain Public Library System library card. Come to eMedia class at the Main Library on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. Participants will learn about eBooks, music, audiobooks and everything else that you can access using the library’s services. Demonstrations will be given on popular devices. ZUMBA: There’s going to be a dance party at the Library – one that will help you get fit! Zumba storms into Lorain Public Library System’s Main Library every other Monday at 6 p.m. (Nov. 25; Dec. 9; and Dec. 23). Join the Zumba workout craze and shed pounds while dancing to merengue, salsa and other hot Latin beats. THANKSGIVING CLOSURES: All Lorain Public Library System (LPLS) locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, and remain closed on Thursday, Nov. 28 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Regular library hours will resume on Friday, Nov. 29. LPLS is thankful to serve the community, and appreciates all the patrons who make the library a great place to be. Happy Thanksgiving.
DRAMA CLUB PERFORMANCE: Mark your calendars for Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. The Lorain Public Library’s very own Teen Drama Club will present a dramatic performance to the reading of “The Polar Express.” Climb aboard and be taken on an imaginative trip to the North Pole. The show is in Meeting Room A at Lorain Public Library System’s Main Library.
