The first transition team meeting was held Saturday, November 16, at The Maritime Academy of Toledo, 803 Water St. “This first gathering will be very organizational in nature and I doubt if we will have any discussion on cabinet positions for Mr. Collins’ administration,” said Reinbolt.  “We will have welcoming remarks from Mr. Collins; introductions of those in attendance; an overview of what is expected of the transition team; a review of Mr. Collins’s platform; committee assignments; development of a time frame to issue reports; and breakout sessions for the various committees.”

Transition team committees include:   Labor Relations—chaired by Toledo City Councilman George Sarantou;  Neighborhood  & Safety---chaired by Tom Kroma;  Business Development-- Chaired by Patrick Kenney;  Parks, Recreation, and Urban Beautification—chaired by William Franklin; and Media Relations & Special Events—chaired by Matt Zaleski.
