Ohio Department of Public Safety launches “I Contribute Campaign”
The Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS) is giving Ohioans an opportunity to share their safety promotional efforts within their community by participating in the newly launched “I Contribute” campaign.
The campaign is part of the Department’s main A Safer Ohio initiative, and allows citizens to nominate an individual or an agency for the positive impact they are making in their community as it relates to public safety.
“This is an opportunity to recognize and honor Ohioans outside of ODPS that contribute to A Safer Ohio,” said ODPS Director John Born. “By doing so, more Ohioans will be encouraged to impact their community in a positive way.”
Ohioans can submit a nomination and a summary of their contributions by filling out an application form located on the ODPS Web site at www.publicsafety.ohio.gov. A winner will be selected quarterly to receive a Safer Ohio award presented by the Director of Public Safety. The award recipient will also be featured in the A Safer Ohio Magazine and on the ODPS Web site.
