Matrix Theatre gives final call for submissions
Detroit: Matrix Theatre Company is making a final call for submissions to its second annual Detroit Dreaming Film Festival scheduled for January 2014, and is looking for filmmakers who have made films that can be a part of the Detroit Dreaming theme.
Each film should have at least an underlying theme of the City of Detroit and those who live, work, or interact within its boundaries. It should include subject matter that relates to the City of Detroit in some way. Be creative!
The 2014 Detroit Dreaming Film Festival (The DDFF) is open to a wide range of subject matter and techniques and will exhibit both short- and feature-length films in narrative, documentary and animated forms. It is open to any filmmaker and is not limited to recent productions. “Last year’s audiences were so enthusiastic we decided to add another day to the Festival,” said Matrix Artistic Director Megan Buckley-Ball. “We’re thrilled to provide an intimate venue like ours for local filmmakers again this year.”
