COMPUTERS FOR BEGINNERS
Start learning basic computer skills at Lorain Public Library System’s Main Library. Computers for Beginners is Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at 6 p.m. Learn how to use a mouse, identify computer parts, and receive an introduction to the Windows operating system. This class includes an opportunity to receive a Certificate of Completion mouse skills certificate. JUNGLE BOB’S INSECT SHOW
Come see Jungle Bob’s new show at Lorain Public Library System’s Main Library. Back by popular demand, Jungle Bob is ready to entertain people of all ages on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 6:30 p.m. The audience will meet and learn about amazing insects in this educational and entertaining program. INTERNET FOR BEGINNERS
LorainPublicLibrary.org has so much to offer. Dive into the world of online information with the Lorain Public Library System. If you’re new to the Web, come to the Main Library on Friday, Nov. 8 at 3:30 p.m. for Internet for Beginners. You’ll become familiar with Internet basics, visit websites and use Internet search engines. You’ll also learn about the great resources available on the library’s website for LPLS cardholders. TEEN ADVISORY BOARD
Teens, volunteer and make the Library even greater! Lorain Public Library System’s Main Library is looking for sixth through 12th-graders for their Teen Advisory Board. Help the Library plan various fun activities. The board meets next on Monday, Nov. 11 at 5:30 p.m. New members are welcome.
