Spooky Science and Science come together in October at Imagination Station

The entire month of October, Spooky Science is haunting Imagination Station. Guests can explore the hair-raising, bone-chilling, spine-tingling science of Halloween while learning about chemistry, physics and biology.

Sloan Mann, Assistant Director of STEM Education, said, “Science has been used for years to create many of the 'spooky' effects that are often associated with Halloween. Spooky Science is a great opportunity to get people excited about science and show how everyday items can be used to produce surprising effects.”

Guests can experiment with Bloody Handprints, Slime, Ghost Crystals, Boo Bubbles and Fake Wounds. Each weekend in October, The Doctor and his assistant, Igor, will perform a Spooky Science Demonstration on Fridays at 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 p.m.

Imagination Station hosts its annual members-only Halloween party, Monster Bash, on October 24 from 6 – 8 p.m. Members can experiment with spooky activities, show off their costumes in a costume parade, meet Dr. Insecta and more.
