During National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15) Cleveland Public Library will recognize and celebrate the culture, contributions and heritage of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, México, the Carribbean, and Central and South America. All students in kindergarten through grade 12 may participate. The winners will receive a $50 gift card from Target.
Here’s How It Works:
· Entry deadline is Friday, October 4, 2013.
· A prize will be awarded to one winner each of the following age groups:
o Kindergarten – Grade 2
o Grades 3-5
o Grades 6-8
o Grades 9-12
· Winners will be honored at Cleveland Public Library’s Hispanic Heritage Celebration on Saturday, October 12, 4-7 p.m., Parking lot at Esperanza, 3104 West 25th St.
Step 1: Enter
Stop in your nearest Cleveland Public Library location and ask a librarian for an entry form for your age group.
Step 2: Write
Get research tips and writing advice from a librarian.
Step 3: Submit
Turn in your completed contest entry form to your nearest CPL location no later than Friday, October 4.
Winners will be notified by Thursday, October 10.
