Celebrate Summer at the Toledo Zoo

Walk among the wallabies in a special walk-through exhibit. Meet Baru, the largest saltwater crocodile in North America, brought to Toledo by Block Communications, Inc. Continue your adventure with dingoes, kookaburras, lionfish and more as you explore the fascinating natural world of Australia. Remarkable up-close animal encounters and separate-fee behind-the-scenes tours enrich the experience. Free with regular Zoo admission.

It’s the summer's coolest dance party for the 21-and-over crowd! Live bands and a DJ rock your favorite tunes as you mingle, dance and have fun.

The multi-platinum pop-powerhouse boy band performs in the Zoo’s Amphitheatre.

Take a walking tour to learn from Zoo horticulturists about water gardening, from design and plant selection to pumps, filtration and more. Free with regular Zoo admission.

Fri., Aug. 23                 Feast with the Beasts, presented by PNC         
6:30 – 10:30 p.m.

Enjoy an elegant dinner prepared by the Zoo's professional chef and catering staff, along with a close-up animal encounter you won't soon forget.

Wed., Aug. 28               Chicago concert                                              
7:30 p.m.

Chicago, one of America’s longest-running and most successful rock groups, performs in the Zoo’s Amphitheatre.

Sat., Aug. 31                Butterfly and Bug Festival                               
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Visit Nature's Neighborhood for a Science Day dedicated to the little creatures that creep, crawl, float and flutter. Splash in The Play Stream or cool off in the air-conditioned Forest, Jumpin’ Junction and more.

The Zoo is open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Zoo is located on the Anthony Wayne Trail (US 25), four miles south of downtown Toledo. Valid ID showing proof of residency is required.
