El Festival de Michigan Elvisfest enYpsilanti

 

El pasado 12 y 13 de Julio del 2013 en Ypsilanti, se llevó a cabo el Michigan Elvisfest un tributo a Elvis Presley. Dos días en los cuales seguidores del conocido como el “Rey del Rock and Roll” es recordado a pleno.

 

Por décimo cuarto año consecutivo, este evento atrae artistas personificadores de Presley de todas partes de Estados Unidos.

 

Horas repletas de música en el escenario con cantantes que reviven sus canciones; al igual que otros artistas que representan música de la época de Presley tales como los Blues Brothers, Paul McCartney, Patsy Cline y más.

 

Mientras uno camina por el parque Riverside recorriendo los puestos de vendedores que ofrecen desde ropa al estilo Presley, hasta camisetas con su semblante uno puede toparse con un personificador de Elvis que con gracia y mucho gusto posa y saluda al estilo del “Rey”.

Sus seguidores definitivamente no tienen edad límite, ya que se encontraban personas de todas las edades.

 

Dicha audiencia instalada desde temprano cantó y bailó haciendo coro con los artistas.

 

The Michigan Elvisfest, Ypsilanti

 

The Michigan Elvisfest, a tribute to Elvis Presley and other artists, took place July 12 and 13, 2013 in Ypsilanti—two days where followers of the “King of Rock and Roll” revived his life, his music, and his charm.

 

In its 14th consecutive year, this event attracts Presley impersonators from around the United States. Hours filled with music brought by performers who bring back his tunes and others who interpreted singers from Elvis’ times, such as the Blues Brothers, Paul McCartney, Patsy Cline, and others.

 

While walking around, guests had the opportunity to take pictures with the “King” impersonators, who graciously strike a pose for the cameras. All along Riverside Park vendors were offering Elvis momentos, such as Presley-style t-shirts and glasses.

 

The audience, which was waiting since early hours in the afternoon, had no age limit and they sang and danced to the music brought by the stage performers as the “King of the Rock and Roll” used to do.
