Subject: Boycotting Perrysburg Mexican-American Festival
I am strongly protesting and boycotting the August 2013 “Perrysburg Mexican-American Festival” because the current “acting PHCA board members” are in violation of the [Perrysburg Heights Community Association, PHCA] association’s bylaws.

They are refusing to recognize or include the community which they were intended, per the bylaws, to serve.
They have refused to acknowledge 18 candidates for available board member positions, and have gone as far as to, “in our presence,” lock us out of the very building and our community center, which we, our parents, and grandparents, worked so very hard for so many years, to help build.
They even removed Anita Sánchez-Serda, the original co-founder and coordinator of the Ohio South of the Border Festival.
This festival is “not” our Ohio South of the Border Festival. We respectfully ask and greatly appreciate you, your family, and friends joining us in boycotting and not attending, volunteering for, or working for, this festival.
