The community, Perrysburg Schools, faculty of BGSU along with advocates from churches and agencies rallied at the May 28, 2013 meeting to support the efforts of the board to keep the Center open.
The Center has several grants they are pursuing and fundraisers planned beginning in June through October, not to mention their nationally recognized Ohio’s South of the Border Festival which is held the second weekend in August.
The “Save our Center” fundraiser will start off with a Cook-out Meal & Party in the Park, raffles, a tour of the Center and ask everyone who attend to help support the programming and operating needs at the Center by making a monetary contribution.
We can't abandon children who count on our programming!
If the center closes, our community’s children will have no support with homework and no mentoring. Our community’s children need a safe place to be! Please help us help our children, and our community!
