Military gets free admission to OH amusement park and Midwest LatinoFest

MASON, Ohio and Toledo, Ohio, May 23, 2013 (AP): Current and former members of the U.S. military will get free admission to Kings Island amusement park in southwest Ohio over Memorial Day weekend and to the MidWest LatinoFest, scheduled for June 8 in downtown Toledo.

The park and the committee organizing MidWest LatinoFest says a valid military ID must be presented at the Kings Island ticket window and to the entrance of Promenade Park in Toledo to take advantage of the free admission offer, according to Nanette Nieto of the MidWest LatinoFest committee. 
 

The Kings Island offer also allows military personnel to purchase up to six discount admission tickets for immediate family members.

Military personnel qualifying for the offer include active and retired members of the military, veterans with honorable or medical discharges and National Guard and the Reserve Officers' Training Corps members, all with proper ID.
