2013 Brown Bag Summer Concert Series, Downtown Library

Toledo: Mark your calendars, walk away from the water cooler and get ready to grab your blanket or lawn chair, favorite co-workers, family members and a brown bag full of munchies for the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s lunchtime outdoor music series.
 

The 2013 Brown Bag Summer Concert Series is a FREE eight-week music event that runs from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m., on Wednesdays from June 5 through July 24, 2013 on the North Lawn of Main Library, 325 Michigan St., in downtown Toledo.

June 12     Ballet Folklorico Imagenes Mexicanas…(Mexican folkloric dance)
June 19     Captain Sweet Shoes…(Alternative/Acoustic)
June 26     Just Kiddin’ Around with Elisa and Chuck Hage…(Children’s)
July 3        Jeff Tucker and On the Beach…(Adult Alternative)
July 10      Rodney Parker and Liberty Beach…(Country)
July 17      Raq the Casbah…(Arabic/Middle Eastern and Pop World music)
July 24      Electric Troubadours…(Rockabilly/Americana)

Food and refreshment vendors will be on hand for those who don’t bring a brown bag lunch, and the Friends of the Library invites all to buy a lunch in advance of a performance in the Library Café, located on the lower level of Main Library. The Brown Bag Concert Series is a family-friendly event.
