Auditor López officially announces candidacy for Toledo mayor

Lucas County Auditor Anita López officially announced her candidacy for Toledo mayor on April 16, 2013 at the Believe Center, located in the Aurora González Community Center in a campaign rally attended by over 300 individuals. If elected, she would become the second woman and first Latino/a to hold the office. To date, other candidates are: incumbent Michael Bell, Alan Cox, Opal Covey, Michael Konwinski, and Joe McNamara. But more candidates are possible with a filing deadline of July 12, 2013.
