Gina Petredis is the Director of Government Relations for the Cleveland Clinic Health System, where she is responsible for advocating for the interests of Cleveland Clinic and its patients for its locations in Northeast Ohio, Florida and Nevada. For the previous five years Gina was the Director of Federal Government Relations for Cleveland Clinic during which she was responsible for all federal legislative matters impacting Cleveland Clinic. Gina was the point person for Cleveland Clinic during the crafting of the Affordable Care Act, the federal healthcare reform law that went into effect March 2010.
Gina has worked in government relations for more than 15 years in both the public and private sectors, including: Time Warner Cable Corporation, Comcast Corporation, the office of Ohio Attorney General Lee Fisher, and the Office of the Cuyahoga County Treasurer.
Ms. Petredis, a graduate of Cleveland State University sits on the policy committee of the Washington, DC federal healthcare advocacy group; the Association of American Medical Colleges and the boards of Midtown Cleveland and Children’s Hunger Alliance. Gina resides in Amherst, Ohio with her husband. They have two grown children.

Comfort Care, pain management, and compassionate care by highly experienced staff will guide this journey in the patient’s home. Hospice Care is available for almost everyone in the USA. This work shop will answer all of your questions and will remove most of the myths and misconceptions about Hospice Care. Let’s have some time for those, who don’t have time anymore!

We can all agree that Latino food is cooked with passion. Pair that with a passion for preparing healthy food and you have a very informative workshop. LCCC’s Executive Chef Eric Petrus will demonstrate a few simply prepared Latino dishes that not only taste good, but are good for you. Learn how some of the most common spices and ingredients in Latino Cuisine can help you with a healthier diet. He will also discuss the college’s newest degree program of Culinary Arts and the positive effect it will have on our community.
Nunca es Tarde – Flamenco La Romera is a veteran flamenco dancer and instructor based in Cleveland, with over 30 years experience performing and teaching in Spain and North America. Her company, ¡Duende! Flamenco has performed to standing ovations throughout the United States.

Mike Oquendo is the creator, producer and host of the Mikey O Comedy Show which produced 114 shows last year here in the Chicago and across the Country. The Mikey O Comedy Show has been featured on Telemundo, WGN Television, Univision, People en Español, Broadway World and the Chicago Tribune. Mike is especially proud of 3 notable milestones in his career: serving on the Board of Governors for the National Academy of the Recording Arts and Sciences which created the very first Latin Grammy Awards; being a concept contributor on 3 HBO Latino specials; and, lastly, creating his Community Partner Nights which raised over $90,000 last year for Local Non-Profit Agencies.
