National Library Week is a time to celebrate the contributions of libraries, library staff and to promote library use. Communities matter at your Lorain Public Library System (LPLS). Visit any LPLS location or the Bookmobile to celebrate.

Make a Book Wreath

The Adult Services Department presents a free Recycle a Book Program as we celebrate National Library Week 2013. Do you have a glue gun, tape dispenser and stapler at home? If so, you have the tools you’ll need to construct a book wreath using pages cut from an old book. Come to this free program to see a demonstration of how to make your own book wreath. You will receive a free supply of precut pages from an old book that you can take home to craft into your own special wall décor. Balloon Bender Dave
Avon Branch Library, 37485 Harvest Drive, Avon; Tuesday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m. Balloon Bender Dave will dazzle and delight the entire family at this celebration of National Library Week. National Bookmobile Day
Wednesday, April 17
