Register for classes at the new University Partnership Ridge Campus (UPRC) of Lorain County Community College during a registration fair from 3-7 p.m., Thursday, January 17.
The event will be a one-stop registration event for students interested in taking courses at the UPRC, LCCC’s newest learning center in North Ridgeville.
The registration fair will include: • Orientation sessions for new students at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.,
• Registration for classes,
• Financial Aid sessions at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.,
• Open sessions with LCCC advisers,
• Tours of the new UPRC center Representatives from The University of Toledo’s
Computer Science and Engineering program,
• Demonstrations of the Patient Simulation Lab,
• Refreshments.
A 10-week session of LCCC classes will begin on Monday, February 25, 2013.
UPRC offers bachelor and associate degree programs, as well as certificate programs. Two University Partnership programs are located at UPRC - The University of Toledo’s Computer Science and Engineering bachelor degree and The University of Akron’s Computer Information Systems bachelor degree.
The UPRC includes a Patient Simulation Learning Center for Allied Health and Nursing programs, and a new associate degree program in Health Information Technology. Other programs offered at the UPRC include business and IT certificates and degrees, and the digital forensics and computer application integration specialist programs. Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees may also be completed at the UPRC.
UPRC is conveniently located in North Ridgeville on Lorain Road adjacent to the Interstate 480 east entrance ramp.
Registration for courses at the UPRC can be completed in person at the UPRC or at the main campus in Elyria in the Bass Community Library and Resource Center
