The Miracle Worker takes center stage at French Creek Nature and Arts Center
SHEFFIELD VILLAGE: Lorain County Metro Parks, in conjunction with The Morning Journal and WOBL, present the TrueNorth Cultural Arts production of The Miracle Worker, Jan. 18 through Feb. 3, 2013 at French Creek Nature and Arts Center.
The Miracle Worker, the story of Helen Keller, who lost her sight and hearing due to an illness and her teacher Annie Sullivan who after much hard work and persistence taught her to persevere. This production features one of our own, Morgan Faith Williams from Avon Middle School, in the lead role as Helen Keller. The play is directed by Fred Sternfeld and was adapted by William Gibson in 1959 for the stage.
Show times are Friday and Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m. Advance tickets for the performance are $16 for the center section and $14 for the side seats. Tickets may be purchased the day of the show for $16 and $18. Children 18 and under are $10.
