The Latino Alliance meets at the South Branch Toledo-Lucas County Library for nominations for officers
Toledo, November 13, 2012: The Latino Alliance is accepting nominations for president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Submit nominations by Friday, December 7, 2012.
Email to Margarita DeLeón at: [email protected]. Nominations will also be taken the day of the election on January 17, 2013, but to make a nomination you must be a member in good-standing.
Guiesselle Mendoza said she would be willing to act as secretary.
Rico Neller moved that there would be a term cap of 1 year for first year positions for 2013; the motion was defeated, 3 to 9.
Elections will be held on January 17, 2013 at noon at a location to be determined.
Interested in membership? Organizations can join for $50 per year and individuals for $10 per year. Nueva Esperanza Credit Union on Broadway Street will accept payment on dues.
