Battle of the Badges Hits the Ice
Toledo Walleye will host charity hockey game between Toledo Police & Fire Departments on November 10

The clash of the badges is back! The Toledo Police Department and the Toledo Fire Department are sharpening their skates to face off in the second annual Toledo Walleye “Battle of the Badges” charity hockey game.
 

This enormously competitive game of Good vs. Good has both sides bringing a variety of skill levels to this year’s match-up. “It’s a lot of fun. We’re always at each other. We always give each other a bit of a time,” says David Wood from the Toledo Fire Department. TPD comes into the game with the single victory, but the fire department predicts that won’t happen twice.

The puck drops prior to the Saturday, November 10, 2012 Walleye game at the Huntington Center. Tickets include both the “Battle of the Badges” charity hockey game at 3:00 pm and the Toledo Walleye vs. Wheeling Nailers game at 7:05 pm. Fans can exit the arena and return for the Toledo Walleye game. Doors open @ 6 pm. A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit the Firefighters Local 92 Charities and the Toledo Police Museum.
