Henry Ford Community College hosts the Union of Concerned Scientists Oct. 25

Dearborn: Dr. Jeremy Richardson and Nancy Cole of the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) will discuss the role of renewable resources in a changing energy landscape at Henry Ford Community College (HFCC) Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, 12:40 to 2 p.m. in Room L-14 of the Liberal Arts Building on the main campus. This event is free and open to the public.

Richardson and Cole’s lecture will focus on various renewable resources, including coal-fired power, natural gas, wind and solar power, as well as their impact on health concerns, energy cost and job creation opportunities.
