Students preparing to take the ACT test can improve their skills with an ACT preparation course at Lorain County Community College.
The noncredit course is offered through LCCC’s College for Kids and Teens program. The cost is $120. Upcoming courses are:
10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sundays, September 30 – October 21. This session is for those planning to take the test this fall and will be able to complete sessions for the October 27 test date.
5-8 p.m., Tuesdays, November 6 –November 27. This session is for those planning to take the test this fall and will be able to complete sessions for the December 8 test date.
Sessions will focus on an overview of the ACT test, diagnostic evaluations, familiarity and practice with ACT-style questions, and pacing strategies. Connection to resources to strengthen targeted areas for improvement will be provided and the sessions will conclude with a practice ACT test. Session dates are arranged to conclude shortly before a scheduled ACT test dates.
