La primera fiesta en Northwest State
Northwest State Community College se complace en celebrar el Mes Nacional de Concientización Hispana con la primera fiesta en Northwest State programado para el Domingo, Septiembre 23, 2012 desde el mediodía hasta las 4 pm. La fiesta contará con música hispana, comida auténtica, juegos inflables y diversión para toda la familia. Esta es la primera vez que Northwest State Community College hace algo semejante y estamos recurriendo a las iglesias de nuestra área por su ayuda. Como puede ver el evento se llevará a cabo muy pronto. Por favor, comparta esta información con los miembros de su congregación rápidamente de ésta manera ustedes podrán hacer parte de este emocionante evento.
Estamos buscando participantes que nos ayuden a celebrar la cultura e historia con comida “auténtica” hispana. ¿Tiene miembros que estén dispuestos a compartir sus fríjoles, tamales, enchiladas o salsa? Nos gustaría poner a su disposición mesas durante el evento para que la gente pueda hacerse una idea de las tradiciones que hacen a la comunidad hispana fuerte. La fiesta se llevará a cabo en el campus en la dirección 22600 ruta estatal 34, en Archbold.
Northwest State Community College lo está invitando a ser anfitrión de una mesa de exhibición con información de su herencia hispana y su misión como iglesia. Usted también está invitado a proporcionar “Auténtica comida hispana” para compartir con nuestros invitados. Estamos anticipando 200 o más personas que vendrán a divertirse.
No habrá ningún costo por participar en la fiesta y también será gratuito para los invitados que quieran asistir. Cualquier donación será recibida durante el evento y todas las ganancias se destinarán a la creación de una beca de NSCC para los estudiantes de origen hispano o latino.

Northwest State Fiesta
Northwest State Community College is excited to Celebrate National Hispanic Awareness Month with the first Northwest State Fiesta on Sunday, September 23, 2012 from noon to 4pm. The Fiesta will feature Hispanic music, authentic food, inflatable games and fun for the whole family. This is the first time Northwest State has done something like this and we are looking to our area churches for help. As you can see the event is quickly approaching. Please take this information to the members of your congregation quickly so you can be a part of this exciting event.
We are looking for partners to help us celebrate the culture and history with “authentic” Hispanic food. Do you have members that would be willing to share their beans, tamales, salsa or enchiladas? We would like to set up tables throughout the event so people can get a taste of the traditions that make the Hispanic community strong. The Fiesta will be held on the Northwest State campus at 22600 State Route 34, Archbold.
Northwest State is inviting you to host a display table featuring information on your Hispanic heritage and your mission as a church. You are also invited to provide “authentic Hispanic food” to share with our guests. We are anticipating 200 or more people to join the fun.
There will be no charge to participate in the Fiesta and it will also be free for guests to attend. A free will offering will be taken during the event with all proceeds going to establish a NSCC Scholarship for students of Hispanic or Latino descent.
