Hispanic Heritage Month Coloring Contest

Use your imagination and enter the Hispanic Heritage Coloring Contest for children, September 15 through October 15. Pick up a coloring sheet at the Library during regular library hours, starting September 15 and return it by October 15. One gift card will be awarded to the lucky winner. Hispanic Heritage Workshop

This workshop is for any adult interested in learning more about Hispanic Heritage. Whether you are Hispanic yourself, or simply interested in learning more about our unique community, this is the perfect program for you. Program presenter will be Guillermo Arriaga, President/Curator, Museum of Hispanic and Latino Cultures. Preregistration is required by calling the South Lorain Branch Library at 440-277-5672. Free.

Hispanic Heritage Fiesta And Concert

Saturday, October 6 at 2 p.m.

At Lorain Public Library Systemís South Lorain Branch Library, 2121 Homewood Drive, Lorain

Stop in the Library to celebrate our community during this special Hispanic Heritage program. Listen to a special performance by Latin jazz group, Upfront Band, get a scoop of ice cream, enjoy face painting, and visit with Browserģ, the library mascot. This event is funded by The Friends of the Lorain Public Library, Inc. Everyone is welcome. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket.
