Lorain County rocks with Labor Day Activities

On Sept. 2, 2012, Lorain County Organized Labor Unions hosted their 18^th Annual Labor Day Family Celebration at the Black River Landing in downtown Lorain. The fun-filled, family-oriented event is also hosted by the Lorain Port Authority and the Lorain County Labor Agency.

In the top photo, Less than 88 (rock/Motown) entertains the thousands that gathered, supporting Labor, Unions, and Labor Day.

In the bottom photo, Mary Santiago, Patricia Blakeley, and Dotti Washington (standing) assist in the registration of new Ohio voters, anticipating a large turnout for the November election.
