El 15 de agosto comienza el primer programa con grupos interactivos llamado “Progreso”. Dicho programa tiene como meta lograr que las participantes descubran su propio potencial, reconociendo su fortaleza, asertividad y auto estima manteniendo y reflejando sus valores y su cultura.

Grand opening for Latinas at El Centro de la Mujer
El Centro de la Mujer opened its doors on August 8th of 2011 and a group of women from the Toledo area got together to celebrate.
They shared an entire morning while discussing current events related to Latinas. The participants also contributed ideas for future groups that will be developing soon.
Their children had a good time too, while enjoying art activities and supervised outdoor games in the gardens that surround El Centro.
August 15th will start the first program composed of interactive groups, called “Progreso” (Progress). This program focuses on participants self-discover while recognizing strength, assertiveness, and self-esteem reflecting their values and culture.
