Diary of Harlista Omar Hernández, along the historic Route 66

July 17, 2011: Just finished the third day of our trip on Route 66 to LA!
So far we covered 900 miles with 1800 more to go, with stops in Chicago IL, St. Louis, and Springfield, Missouri.

Nothing like riding a Harley going 50 mile per hour with your legs on the highway pegs and the speakers blasting out some old favorites, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, and the Doors!

Visited the Jesse James wax museum and the caves where the James Gang use to hide out. Many stops like this along the way. And trying to keep up with my 23 year old Son!
Today we are riding 300 miles to Oklahoma City! No Rain! Just very HOT!
