Nominations sought for Diamante Awards through July 31

The Diamante Awards Committee is accepting nominations for the 22^nd Diamante Awards (established in 1989) through July 31, 2011. The committee consists of various university members from the University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University, Lourdes, and Owens Community College; also, Margarita De León and María González.

This year's awards and scholarship event will take place on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Lenhart Grand Ballroom at Bowling Green State University. The awards recognize individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievements and service to Latinos. The Diamante Awards also serve to raise scholarship funds for Latino youth wanting a college diploma.
