Tri-C partners with RideUNITED to benefit United Way
CLEVELAND: Cuyahoga Community College is among the sponsoring partners for RideUNITED, a new regional one-day round-trip bike tour traversing the Scenic Byways and Towpath from Cleveland to Akron, starting at 7:30 a.m. June 5, 2011. All registration fees and money raised through fundraising will benefit the United Way of Greater Cleveland and the United Way of Summit County.
A variety of routes are available including rides of 12, 25, 43, 86 or 100 miles. There is also a family ride option of four miles through Cleveland from Cleveland State University to the Great Lakes Science Center. Breakfast and lunch will be provided along with four supported rest stops and route support. Helmets are required for all riders. All routes will begin at Cleveland State University.
Register now for RideUNITED by visiting www.rideunited.org and clicking on “rider registration.” Participants can join Team Tri-C by selecting “Team Tri-C” from the “join a team” drop down menu. The first 150 Tri-C students to register will be admitted free.
