Summer Day Camps at Lorain County Community College
Lorain County Community College offers several opportunities for children to stay active, learn new skills and have fun at summer day camps.

Young Women in STEM Summer Camp
The Young Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Camp will be held June 13-24 and July 11-22, 2011 on the LCCC campus. The camp is for middle school girls that will be entering grades 6, 7 and 8. The cost is $100 per student and the camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. KidFit Fun Week at LCCC
Boys and girls ages 8-10 (entering 3rd-5th grade) may attend KidFit Fun Week at LCCC from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 20-23 at LCCC’s Physical Education building. Activities include various sporting, fitness, art, teambuilding, nutrition information and more.

Rosie’s Girls Summer Camp
Rosie’s Girls, a trade exploration summer day camp for girls entering grades 6-8, will be held on the LCCC campus from June 20-July 8. The camp combines hands-on instruction in skills trades with lots of arts, games and confidence building skills.
Tuition rates are based on a sliding scale and scholarships are available. The deadline to apply is June 3. The camp is sponsored by LCCC and Hard Hatted Women.
