Hospice of Northwest Ohio

Exclusive Charity Partner of Neighborhood Thrift

Hospice of Northwest Ohio is now the exclusive charity partner of Neighborhood Thrift stores. This allows the community to support Hospice of Northwest Ohio by donating gently used items to be sold in their stores. A considerable portion of the proceeds will benefit Hospice, while also providing another “green” option for re-purposing things they no longer need.

Says Shawn Martin, President of Criterion Ventures Group and Neighborhood Thrift, “We feel Hospice of Northwest Ohio is a very deserving charity partner. They’ve touched thousands and thousands of lives in this community, and—when we tell our customers of our new association—we hear nothing but wonderful things about how Hospice made a difference in the life of their loved ones. We are hoping that the community will help support their excellent work by donating items to be sold in our stores.”

Where to Shop, How to Donate

Neighborhood Thrift (formerly Stuff N’ More) is located at 3330 West Laskey Road (just off of Secor) in Toledo. A second store will be opening at 126 Chesterfield Drive (across from Meijer) in Maumee.

Store hours at both locations are 10 to 7, Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 on Sundays.

Anyone interested in donating gently used items - clothing, house wares, small appliances, furniture, toys, sporting equipment, books, jewelry, art or collectibles - can either take them to Neighborhood Thrift or - if they have a large load that cannot be contained in their vehicle-call for a pick up at 419-469-8833. A receipt for tax purposes will be issued to everyone who contributes merchandise.
