Local Issues Summary: May 3, 2011, State of Ohio

Voters in 64 Ohio counties will decide on questions and issues for the 2011 May Primary/Special election ballot. There are a total of 381 issues appearing on the May 3 ballot.

Issues broken down by type:

• 6 Bond issues (4 are school bond issues)
• 10 Combination questions (All are school questions)
  • 7 are bond issue and tax levy questions
  • 1 is a bond issue with two tax levy questions
  • 2 are bond issue with a miscellaneous question
• 287 tax levy questions (113 are school issues)
• 57 Miscellaneous questions
  • 4 electric aggregation questions
  • 13 proposed charter amendments
  • 5 proposed zoning changes
  • 35 income tax questions ( 21 are school income tax questions)
• 21 Local option questions

Please note: Some questions or issues may overlap into other counties. If more than one county is affected, it is listed next to the name of the subdivision submitting the question/issue.
