Bahn’s performance will include works by Mumford and Keith Fitch.
Bahn is a violinist who has a keen interest in collaborative and innovative repertoire. She is a highly performer of new music and is established as a versatile player of many styles.
In Washington, D.C., Bahn is the executive director and violinist with the VERGE Ensemble of the Contemporary Music Forum, the resident ensemble of the Corcoran Gallery of Art. The VERGE Ensemble has performed in Paris, New York, Cleveland, and was the resident ensemble for the June in Buffalo Festival in 2009. She is also a member of the newly formed National Gallery New Music Ensemble, which gave its inaugural performance in the East Wing in 2010. As a soloist, she has appeared with the Chicago Chamber Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, La Orquesta Sinfonica de la Serena (Chile) and the Malaysian National Symphony Orchestra.
From 1998-2010, Bahn was a member of the award-winning Corigliano Quartet, which performed around the world. Bahn was appointed to the faculty at the University of Colorado in Boulder in 2008.
