“You may think you’re invincible. But all it takes is one bad decision”

Unison Behavioral Health Group and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) chapter from Cardinal Stritch High School joined forces last Saturday at Westfield Franklin Park Mall reaching out to other young men and women offering “sober contracts” for them to sign.
The “Contract for Life” was developed by the young members from SADD. It encourages students to celebrate safely this prom and graduate season. Invites them to make good decisions, stay away from drugs, don’t drink and don’t get in a car with someone who has been drinking. The contract starts with: “You may think you’re invincible. But all it takes is one bad decision.”
There was also Parent/Caring Adult contracts to sign. This encourages adults to join them and to work together to promote a season of celebration and smart choices.
This project was funded by The Mental Health & Recovery Services Board of Lucas County and the Saturday program was part of the activity “Formal-ly Yours” that the Junior League of Toledo’s put together.

“Tu piensas que eres invencible. Pero todo lo que se necesita es una mala decisión”
Unison Behavioral Health Group (Grupo para Comportamientos Saludables) y los Estudiantes Contra Decisiones Destructivas (SADD) unieron fuerzas el sábado pasado en el Mall Westfield Franklin Park para motivar a otros jóvenes a firmar un “contrato de sobriedad”.
El “Contrato Por la Vida” fue desarrollado por SADD. Este anima a los estudiantes a celebrar con cuidado en la época de graduación. Los invita a realizar buenas decisiones, no usar drogas, no beber alcohol y no subir a un automóvil con alguien que haya estado bebiendo. El contrato comienza diciendo: “Tu piensas que eres invencible. Pero todo lo que se necesita es una mala decisión”
También tenían contratos de Padres/Adultos para ser firmados. Esto los motiva a ellos a unirse y trabajar juntos para promover que la temporada de celebraciones sea positiva y que tomen las decisiones correctas.
Este proyecto fue posible por los fondos otorgados por Mental Health & Recovery Services Board (El Consejo de Salud Mental y Servicios de Recuperación) del Condado de Lucas . El programa del sábado fue parte del la actividad organizada por Junior League of Toledo llamada “Formalmente Tuyo” (Formal-ly Yours)
