Adelante Inc. attends 2011 National Latino Advocacy Days in Washington, DC
The National Council of La Raza (NCLR) Líderes initiative is a national program designed to create opportunities for Latino youth that will elevate their influence as leaders in the United States.

The 2011 NCLR National Latino Advocacy Days, March 9 and 10, 2011, in Washington DC, brought together hundreds of leaders from Latino nonprofit and civic organizations throughout the country, offering a unique opportunity to make their voices heard on Capitol Hill on the vital issues impacting Hispanic Americans. A portion of this conference, Líderes, gives young Latinos the opportunity to visit with their states Congressman and Senators.
Alfredo Escalera, Rubén Hernández, Bridget Buckley, Gabi Enrique, Olivia Paredes, and Mariana Parisca , all students from the Toledo area, lead by Isaac Oehrtman and Stephanie Serda from Adelante,Inc., attended this event.
La iniciativa Líderes del Consejo Nacional la Raza (NCLR) es un programa nacional designado para crear oportunidades para que los jóvenes latinos puedan acrecentar su influencia como lideres en los Estados Unidos.
Durante los días 9 y 10 de Marzo en Washington, DC, organizado por NCLR, se llevo a cabo el evento llamado Días de Representación Nacional. Este reunió a cientos de líderes latinos de organizaciones sin fines de lucro y cívicas de todo el país, ofreciendo una oportunidad de dar voz en el Capitol Hill acerca de temas vitales que impactan a los Latinos. Una porción de la conferencia llamada Líderes, dio la oportunidad a jóvenes latinos de visitar a senadores y representantes del congreso que corresponden a los estados en que ellos residen.
