Puerto Rican Home is hosting its 13^th annual Boricua Festival this weekend

LORAIN:  The Puerto Rican Home is hosting its 13^th annual Boricua Festival this weekend, Friday, Aug. 13 until Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010.

A pageant will kick off the festivities Friday at 6 p.m. This year there are seven girls and three boys competing for the title in three categories of Mr. and Ms.Chiquitito, Princesa and Principe, and Reina and Rey, said Nidia Silva, in charge of the pageant.

The 3^rd annual Puerto Rican parade will be Saturday, Aug. 14 starting at noon, with the route beginning near Oakwood Park, heading to East 31^st Street, heading to Pearl Avenue and finishing at the Puerto Rican Home.
