3rd Annual PBS Kids Raising Readers Week sponsored by WGTE
WGTE Public Media, Super WHY, and Princess Presto participate in a weeklong celebration of literacy starting Tuesday, June 8, 2010.
WGTE will host free events at four area libraries and its annual Anytime is Learning Time Family Fun Day on Saturday, June 12, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the WGTE Studios. All activities will include visits from Super WHY and Princess Presto from the PBS Kids show, Super Why!

The library activities also include story time, a hands-on literacy activity, and a video of Super Why! Family Fun Day will include giveaways, hands-on literacy activities, carnival type games, face painting and an awards ceremony to recognize the participants and winners of the Share a Story contest.
WGTE will also be at the Mud Hens game on Sunday, June 13 with Super WHY and Princess Presto. Regular ticket prices apply.
