Sertoma Community Grant awarded

Toledo Hearing and Speech Center has been awarded a grant from the Sertoma Community Grant Program to provide free hearing health care this summer. During May through August, 2010, Toledo Hearing and Speech Center will have 12 days available for community residents ages 3 and older to come in for a free hearing screening. If referral or follow up is needed, the Center may be able to provide additional free care based on financial need.
 

Community hearing health days are: Mondays June 14, June 21 and June 28; Mondays July 12, July 19 and July 26; Mondays August 2, August 9 and August 16, 2010.

The purpose of the grant program is to advance Sertoma’s hearing health mission through a direct relationship with the National Adopt-an-Agency/Affiliate Program and to enhance the branding of Sertoma as the hearing health organization in the United States.

Toledo Hearing and Speech Center has been a national affiliate of Sertoma for over 10 years and collaborates on projects through a local affiliate club, the Fort Meigs Sertoma Club.

No appointment needed – hearing screenings will be conducted between the hours of 9a-12p and 1p-4p each day. Any questions, call (419) 241-6219.
