Tipping will direct brand and interactive marketing strategies for R/P clients and oversee the Mercy and Community Health Partners accounts. “Joining R/P during this time of growth is exciting,” said Tipping. “I respect the work that this talented group has produced over the years and I look forward to contributing to it in the future.”

Before coming to R/P, Tipping was the Corporate Director of Interactive Marketing for Herschend Family Entertainment, representing the interactive efforts of national venues such as Dollywood, Stone Mountain Park and Wild Adventures. Prior to that, he held senior marketing positions with Hart Associates, Little Caesar’s Pizza, and Fahlgren.

In addition to Tipping, Diane Iannucci, has rejoined R/P’s media department. She will serve as media planner/buyer for R/P’s Transcend Hospice Marketing Group.

Adding to R/P’s growing research department, Lex Hultquist has joined the team as research analyst. He is a recent graduate of Dennison University and is a former R/P collegiate intern.

Valerie Vetter has been hired as an Account Coordinator.  Until recently, Valerie worked with Knoll, Inc. in Chicago. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin.

R/P has hired graphic designer Alex Hall to join the creative team. A recent Bowling Green State University graduate, Hall has designed logos for several businesses and contributed to the graphic identity of a regional political campaign.

“Despite the challenging economy, we’re fortunate to have ended 2009 in a strong position,” said president, Martha Vetter. “With the addition of Brian and our other new team members, we’re poised to have an even stronger 2010 and meet the demands of our organic and new business growth.”

According to the latest PR Week rankings, R/P ranks in the top 100 PR firms in the nation and stands as the second-ranked PR firm in Ohio. R/P also appears in the most recent national rankings of Advertising Age, placing the company in the top 1 percent among all U.S. advertising agencies and public relations firms.
