Deb Ortiz-Flores one of YWCA’s Milestones recipients
January 26, 2010: This year’s honorees of the YWCA of Greater Toledo’s Milestones Award are: Deb Ortiz-Flores - Social Services, Paula Brown -Arts, Betsy Brady – Business, Mari D. Davies – Education, Neema Bell – Government, Dr. Anne Baker - Sciences, and Sandra Hylant – Volunteerism.
This is the 15th year the YWCA of Greater Toledo has recognized women of Northwest Ohio who have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and who, through their efforts and accomplishments, opened doors for other women to achieve milestones of their own. “All of us at the YWCA are thrilled to be able to honor these seven wonderful women with this award,” said Lisa McDuffie, CEO of the YWCA of Greater Toledo. “We invite the community to join us for the Milestones award luncheon in March and help us to pay tribute to all that these women have contributed to the Toledo area.”

The Awards ceremony will be held at the SeaGate Convention Centre, March 23, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. Nearly 1,000 will attend this premiere fundraising event. Individual tickets are $45, and a table of ten is available for $450. Call (419) 241-3235 ext 210 for tickets and information.
