The Census Website is now in Spanish

The Census 2010 website has translated critical information into many languages, including Spanish. Please share the contents with your community and faith leaders, educators, businesses and parents.

The Spanish website is found at:

http://2010.census.gov/2010census/language/spanishla.php and offers easy to follow guides so you can review at your own pace the Census form. This will be an important tool you can share in your community. You will also be able to download a Bilingual Census Form as well to familiarize yourself with the questions and format.

Important things to remember when completing the form:

1.Remember to count ALL PERSONS in the household who are living in the home on April 1st, 2010
2.Make sure to count babies
3.Count anyone who is living with you on April 1st, 2010, even if this is not that person's permanent home.
4.Make sure to read carefully question #8 which deals with "ethnicity" and question #9, which asks about "race." These are two separate and important questions.
