Genoa native Felipe Martínez will be part of the Graham High School wrestling team that takes on Blair Academy of New Jersey, at the high school in St. Paris, Ohio, on Saturday, January 30, 2010, commencing at 7:00PM, in a dual match-up. For the past three years, Blair Academy and Graham HS have been rated either first or second nationally in high school wrestling competition.

This is an historic event. Sophomore Martínez, who won the Ohio State Division II wrestling championship as a freshman in the 130-pound class in March of 2009, will compete against Blair’s Chris Villalonga in the 140-pound weight class; Villalonga (Puerto Rican descent) is rated no. 1 and Martínez (Mexican-American) no. 2.
