Chicano artists to discuss their work in BGSU Arts Village exhibit

BOWLING GREEN, Oct. 30, 2009: Bowling Green State University’s Arts Village will host a reception and discussion among artists represented in “Nuestra Voz Chicana,” an exhibition now on display in the Arts Village, located in 101E Kreischer Quadrangle.
 
Set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 4, 2009) in the Arts Village, the event will also feature Joe Balderas, director of the Sofia Quintero Arts and Cultural Center of Toledo.
 
Among the artists are Ricardo Quiñónez, a BGSU art faculty member from Juárez, México; Robert García of Toledo, and Mario Torero of San Diego, Calif.

The exhibition continues through Nov. 13. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays or by appointment. To arrange a time, or for more information, call Sarah Torres in the Arts Village at 419-372-4587.
